Situated in Key West, Florida, Duval Street runs the width of the tip of the island, with its north end ending at the Gulf of Mexico, and its southern tip meeting the Atlantic Ocean. Well known as a tourist destination, especially for those who disembark cruise ships at the northern end, Duval Street has evolved into a one-of-a-kind thoroughfare that is lined with dozens of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

Starting near the southern end of Duval Street, travelers will encounter everything from the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory and Gingerbread Square Gallery to the Duval Beach Club and the Chicken Store. As you move further north, you'll encounter plenty of everyday shops and stores, as well as more unusual fair, such as the Silverman street performer, the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, and "The Oldest House," which was built in 1829 and features rooms decked out with historical items and décor.

Bars and restaurants are another staple of Duval Street, but nothing compares to the northern end where Mallory Square is located. Here you'll encounter the Key West Aquarium and the Key West Shipwreck Historeum and Museum plus much more.
